Daryll Chatman, Executive Director

I am thrilled to be a part of The Bell Senior Living Community. I am a very service oriented person, spending much of my career (20 years) in the hospitality industry. The residents here make my job so enjoyable and I am quite fond of all of them. In my spare time I do volunteer work for impoverished areas in Atlanta and come in contact with a lot of seniors who are a lot less fortunate. It really fuels my desire to be of service within our community. It is a privilege to be able to serve our residents in this fine community!

What an honor it is to have the opportunity to work with such a wonderful staff and be a part of this community. The people here, both staff and residents have brought such joy to my life.    It is an honor to call them part of my family. I was born in Georgia, grew up in California and when my first child was born I moved back to Georgia. I first got involved in a Senior Community when I lived in California. Everyday when I got off the bus I would walk to the Senior Living Center and visit two of the most wonderful people I have ever met.    My passion was to make an impact in their lives filled with love and compassion. I am now a single mother of 4 beautiful children.   I have many goals in life but the most important to me is to make an everlasting impression in the eyes of my children and be an uplifting, loving and genuine person here at The Palms At Lake Spivey. I enjoy showing horses, camping and spending time with family and friends.

Jacqueline D. Eugene, Director of Lifestyle Enrichment

I am currently the Director of Lifestyle Enrichment and the assistant to the Director of Clinical Services.  I received my LPN from Griffin Technical College in Griffin, Georgia in 2005.  Starting a new career I found a love for working with seniors starting out as a Med Tech./Care Manager.  During the course of my career I have gained experience by working 15 years with Medicare, 15 years in the banking and sales field.  As well as owning and operating my own import/export business for 28 years that has allowed me to gain years of management and team work expertise.  This allowed me to find my way to the love of working with the senior community.  I have raised 3 children and currently reside in Stockbridge, Georgia.

It is so exciting to be a part of the family here.  Both the staff and the residents are such a huge part of my life.  I was born and raised in Michigan and moved to Georgia when I married 33 years ago.  I have been in Accounting Customer Service and Sales for 28 years, but can honestly say no job has ever brought more joy to my life as being here with these wonderful residents.  I have a grown son and a 12 year old grandaughter.  My spare time is spent riding my Tennessee Walker horse named Dan.

Kacy Anderson, Executive Chef

At the age of nine cooking became my passion.  I got into cooking by helping my mom around the kitchen.  I took cooking classes for three years in Jr. High School and three years in High School.  In 1979 I signed up to enter into the U.S. Army as a cook, but an opening was not available so my trade was a radio operator.  Since 1985 I started my career in cooking moving up quickly to the kitchen manager.  In 1998 I started working with Senior Citizens at the Miami Jewish Home.  I was there for eight years and found the residents to be very sweet, lovable and fun to be around.  At that time was when I decided that seniors were the people I wanted to be around.  On December 14, 2008 I was informed of the open position here at The Palms.  I thank God I got the job because I have been enjoying it ever since and I look forward to being here for many years to come.
